On a family vacation coordinating 9 adults and a baby, you don't always feel like going out. Pete's Steak Shop has an extensive menu with something for everyone. For a "typical" neighborhood takeout place, the quality of food was surprisingly good.
We tried a variety of things, the pizza, the jalapeño poppers, wraps and cheesesteaks, the AMAZING crab soup, and even the cheesecake. They were all winners, and the generous portions meant we had plenty of leftovers for the next day. The food even reheats well.
There's plenty of fancier places to eat in Rehoboth but it's hard to be such a consistent pleaser. -

Pete's Steak Shop - Rehoboth Beach, DE. When your sign reads, 'The Ultimate Cheese Steak' you are putting some pressure on yourself. Pete the meat handles the pressure well. I got 'Pete's ultimate cheesesteak' and was very pleased with it. It looked good, the roll felt great and you have to love a sexy provolone cheese pull. Pete's Ultimate comes with onions, sauteed mushrooms, green peppers and marinara sauce. All of the ingredients played well together nothing got lost and nothing stood out. I wasn't thrilled with the $12.50. I think I found a bone in my cheesesteak. Should I be happy with fresh meat or concerned something bone like was in my cheesesteak? Overall good experience.

First time visitor. There are several sub sandwich options to choose from so I've never been before today. Pleasantly surprised by the extensive menu and cleanliness of the place.
Steak sub was very good with the home prepared peppers. Salads were big and highly enjoyed. Prices are reasonable and food was delivered promptly mostly b/c the place was empty. It filled up as we were leaving.
Nothing bad to say and recommend trying for yourself. -

I love their cheesesteaks, when I'm in the mood this is def my stop when I'm down to the beach. My son loves their personal pan pizza. The staff is never friendly or personable in my opinion but the food is good.
